Natick is a town in the Metrowest Region of Boston Metro. Natick is known by fashionistas throughout the Ma. area for the recent addition of the Natick Collection. The runners of the Boston Marathon pass through Natick every year through miles 8-12 where they run along Route 135.
Natick was originally settled in 1651 by John Eliot. For hundreds of years Natick was primarily a farming town until the mid 1800's when there was a boom of shoe making factories that opened here, thus making Natick the 3rd largest producer of shoes in the country. It was also in a sewing factory in Natick where the first American baseball was sewed.
Thank you for your contribution. You've taken a huge step to making Povo the "word on the street,"
and we appreciate it very much. Because of the complexity of the "wiki text" and code that can be used
on Povo, in order to edit this section in the future you must click the "edit" button to the right of the section
heading (or for the whole page).
Graffiti is a place for quick notes. Know the hours of a business but not sure where to put it? Did something just happen at this place? Leave some graffiti.
Sometimes street view does not point exactly to the right place. You may need to "drive around" a bit.
