The terrain is flat as Route 135 passes by Lake Cochituate and the 15K mark. This point is approximately mid-way between the towns of Framingham and Wellesley.

9-10 is the first of two slightly uphill miles. You slowly, gradually climb 30 feet over the course of the mile as you pass by Lake Cochituate. Can be windy.
